Do U Have Running Etiquette?

Recently there was "debate" in the forum due to the last AHM held last sunday.

People was voicing out their fustrations of being blocked by slower runners, thus making diffcult for them to run fast and achieve their PB. There lots of talk of starting in the wrong pen... People just refusing to let you past... People running in zig-zag rather than in the straight line.. For one I ran 80% of the ECP route on the side grass so that I dun have to cut through people.

I guess its still a long long way for Singaporeans to reach the level of running etiquette as in overseas races. Until we reach there, I guess its best the enjoy & soak into the atomsphere of running rather than complaining... for thats what running is all about. To me running is for enjoyment, to enjoy the experience to race & the scenery that the race can offer to you.... PB is a bonus...

Quote of the Day

"No matter how old I get, the race remains one of life's most rewarding experiences. My times become slower and slower, but the experience of the race is unchanged: each race a drama, each race a challenge, each race stretching me in one way or another, and each race telling me more about myself and others." Physio @ SGH

Attended my first phsyio @ SGH. The queue time was short as I manage to get the first appt for the day. The moment she examine my legs... WOW YOUR ITB SO TIGHT... I was like... "if not tight why come & see u .... kekeke". She stretch my legs in a few awakard angles & saw my walking stride.. Did some DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE on my left leg.... and boy legs feels lighter after that...manage to conclude a few things for me.

1. ITB tight, must stretch daily at least 5 times if possible (i was again like.huh)
2. Taught me two deep stretches & ask me the add the tennis ball for more shiok PAIN.
3. Conclude that my foot seems to be normal arch but when walking it tends to collaspe, so she recommended me to wear cushioning shoe for more support.
4. May need to get softer in soles for better support....

To see her in a weeks time.... so time to stretch & stretch....
